So today was one of those “Beige” days for me. Put it this way: it’s 6:32 p.m. and I’m still in my pyjamas. Oh well…Can’t win ‘em all, right?
Anyhoo, I finally got tired of wallowing in my own you-know-what, and actually made it the five feet over to my desk. So here’s today’s poem. Quite apt and quite necessary.
Weep Not
Weep not, little one
For all is well
Never will I let you
Descend into hell
Weep not, my little one
You’ll win the game
If you need help
Open yourself
And simply call my name
Thank you, dearest God
For the message above
Today I need hope
Today I need love
Thanks for your kindness
Now I feel so free
When I’m in need
I will proceed
To call Your Grace to me
